YouTube videos won't play?

Hello Steven. Did you try to stream videos in a different web browser? I would also recommend you to disable AVG protection temporarily and check the status to verify whether AVG is the cause really or not.

So my 30-day free trial of Pro ran out. I uninstalled AVG then reinstalled the free version. Upon doing so, YouTube stopped playing videos.

I can access the site normally and all other sites. I can also stream video on sites like Twitch.tv

I've cleared my cache, cookies, history - logged in and out of my Google account. I disabled all extensions and plugins, didn't help. I was watching videos normally last night. It only stopped working after the install.

Please help?

Disabling AVG did not help but I seem to have solved the problem. I turned the YouTube safety filter on then off again and restarted my browser. It worked.

Is it possible that the installation messed with the filter which was prohibiting certain videos from being viewed?
