Yvr.aftomedia.com

No SPAM shows up, and this is a web page, not an e-mail message.  Yes, I have run a complete scan and AVG shows no problems.  But, a full search of the "C" drive did reveal three yvr files.  Can I just delte those, and maybe, I hope so, the problem will go away?  I can't find anything that looks like it in program files to do an "uninstall."

Hello Jennie,

May I know the name of AVG program installed on your PC?
Is it free, trial or paid version?
Do you mean that you are getting this  yvr.aftomedia.com webpage only when you log into your June Web email?
Have you checked on your programs list whether any program or toolbar present in the name of aftomedia?
Are you getting this blank webpage issue only a particular browser or for all of the browsers?

A blank webpage with the URL yvr.aftomedia.com is plaguing me recently, when I use Juno Web e-mail.  Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Yes sure, you can go ahead in deleting the Yvr folders and files manually.
This should fix your issue completely.
Please feel free to contact us if you need any assistance.

I am using the paid version of AVG Protection.

I've not seen the yvr.aftomedia.com on any of my tool bars.

And, it was only after doing a complete search of my "C" drive that I found the following three files:

7/4/2016 -  C:\Users\customer\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC#!121\MicrosoftEdge\User\Default\DOMStore\MV1SGZO8

4/1/2016 -
C:\Users\customer\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC#!001\MicrosoftEdge\User\Default\DOMStore\4FAZCMUB

7/1/2015 -
C:\Users\customer\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\DOMStore\K489E7PH

The above is copied from the search page, when I asked it show the File Location.  All three files appear to be in the DOM Store.  Yet, when I click on “DOM Store”, it shows itself to be empty.

This "Blank" page has appeared at times with Windows Explorer, Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

It will be very active for several days or a few weeks, then, it may disappear for quite some time.  But, it is a royal pain in the neck when it is active.

I don't recall having the problem except when working with Juno Web based e-mail.  I have reported this to Juno Support, but, so far, have only received the standard automated "acknowledgement."  And, since I am using their "Free" service, they may not have much incentive to reply.  However, I am using that only because I used Juno paid DSL for as long as it was in my area.  But, they no longer provide it and I was forced to go to AT&T DSL.  But, I do a lot of volunteer work and it would be major hassle to change my Juno e-mail address.

Can you please tell me the best way to get rid of the above files and, possibly rid my self of nuisance?  Thank you.

Jennie London
