Hi Steve,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
Initially, you can be rest assured that your computer would be protected against emerging threats & hackers, with AVG Internet Security installed on it.
From your description, we're uncertain about how you access the Wikipedia file. Is it through word app or browser?
For better clarity, please share us the screenshot of the page that shows the font is changed.
Meanwhile, if you suspect threats on your computer, you can try running a boot time scan using AVG Antivirus to ensure that it is protected.
I am getting invaded by Zapf dinbats. When I open a Wikipedia file I get all dingbats which I then have to copy, paste and translate into another font. The dingbats are showing up in other downloads. In writing about this problem only dingbats print automatically!!! I tried to delete the fonts from my system file but my computer won't let me. Looks like a virus to me. Help!!!

Now I can't even paste regular (English) fonts into this message box. Previously I wrote in a regular (English) font and pasted to your message box. Now I can't do that. As I type my message in a regular font it types out in dingbats. I'm going dingy. I've double checked my browser preferences (Firefox), and my default font is Courier.
I can access Wilkipedi articles, copy the whole page which is in dingbats, paste to a Pages page and get automatic translation. Is there a way to delete the Zapf Dingbats font from my computer? Thanks. Steve
Thank you for providing us the info, Steve.
From your messages, it seems that the issue might be with the browser. You can try resetting the browser once to check if it helps.
I'm beginning to think this is a Firefox browser problem. I ramped up Safari and do not have theproblem. Any suggestions as to how I can fix firefor???. I will send a screenshot of this before this gets translated and you never see it. somewho when I send this to you it gets autommatically translated into a readable font. Steve
