ZEN not connecting

I have installed both Internet Security and PC TuneUp on all my Windows PC computers. It appears the PC TuneUp is connected thru ZEN to the administrator (my desktop) for both my laptops, but Internet Security on the laptops won't connect to ZEN. So you are telling me that PC tuneup connects to ZEN as before but IS does not connect to ZEN anymore. Am I correct in that analysis?

Now the question. Can I return Ultimate for a refund and go back to PC TuneUp and Antivirus? It seems that you no longer consider Antivirus alone to be a supported product. I would be willing to lose all the advantages of Ultimate to regain connection to ZEN.

The bottom line is that AVG has made Ultimate less useful in an attempt to be all things to everyone. Am I correct?

There are 3 questions contained herein and I really would like answers to all.

One last thing is that I have been a loyal user of AVG products for many years and after a couple of months with the free Antivirus I have used paid for AVG products.

Hello John,
Yes, you're correct. AVG Zen has been removed from the latest AVG Internet Security version. You have to install AVG Internet Security/AVG PC TuneUp on your all Windows Computers manually.
Best regards,
Alok.

I just upgraded from AVG Antivirus to AVG Ultimate. Everything was installed on my desktop and my 2 laptops and are working correctly. However ZEN will not connect from my laptops nor can I add another computer to ZEN from my desktop (ie. the administrator). AVG support says that ZEN no longer works in AVG Ultimate but that each computer is fully protected. Is it true that ZEN does not work in AVG Ultimate?

John,

Please accept my apologies with regards to the AVG software not living up to your expectations.

In the latest release, AVG Zen has been removed and no longer in use. Only to activate AVG TuneUp program, Zen interface is needed. But you cannot add or manage other devices from there.

You can get a refund for AVG Ultimate. However, AVG Ultimate is simply the best of everything for all your devices. You can install AVG Ultimate on unlimited devices like Windows and Android devices. If you want to get a refund and purchase AVG PC TuneUp & Antivirus separately you cannot install the license on unlimited devices. You have to use the license only on Windows device, also the cost will be higher when compare to AVG Ultimate program.
