Zen not working

Hello Tanya,
Thank you for contacting us with your concerns. We regret to hear that Scan with AVG option was disappeared from right click context menu of a file. Do you see any error or warning messages on your AVG dashboard when you launch it? Do you have any conflicting anti virus program installed on your PC or did you make any changes to your PC that might have started the issue? Kindly share a screenshot ( http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot ) of the context menu without the scan option for further assistance. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

The same problem as Jay. Tried to uninstall / reinstall change which would start but all options failed.
Using AVG Free in windows 10. Is antivirus still operating as the "scan with" option has vanished when you right click a file

Hi,

Thanks for your help. While waiting for your answers I tried a couple if things and got it up and running again. It appears to me that the problem was that Avgscv had stopped working and would not restart. The solution - 1 booted in safe mode and renamed AVG directories in program files and program data, efectively removing AVG
2 Rebooted and reinstalled avg (which failed but installed enough to get Zen running)
3 copied contents of renamed directories to new ones created by install
4 rebooted and all seems to be working
                     5 removed renamed directories
Hope this helps other users
