Thank you for choosing AVG.
I have recently done a full, clean install of Mac OSX 10.11 (El Capitan), and am in the process of installing software. I installed AVG & when I tried to connect to the zen network (which has been achieved in the past, although for some reason I remember there being difficulty then, too.), it tells me I have the wrong password. "Log in failed. Please try again."
I have verified that the password was correct, but still couldn't get in. And because I was in the early stages of setting up the machine, I simply uninstalled AVG & reinstalled it. Tried again, same result. I decided to update my password to something new. I updated it, and tried to connect. Same result. Logged out and back in to the website, using the new password, it worked fine. Tried through AVG? Failed.
Now, I'm a 20+ year veteran of the IT support world, both hardware AND software. So, not to sound too self righteous, but I am pretty sure I know what I'm doing, and that it isn't an issue with me on this local machine. Is there a setting or something that I've been missing on the website? Any help would be appreciated, as this is driving me insane!
