1 click maintenance finds the problems. When I go to fix them, it keeps saying to close the Google chrome browser--nothing is open. Won't complete the fix

Hi Karen,

Google Chrome runs on background even if you close all the visible windows nowadays. I'd recommend changing Chrome settings to stop running it on background.

I have this same problem.
I have restarted computer. 
Switched Google desktop off (just in case)
Closed all running chrome apps as per instructions.
Exited Chrome by exit.
Checked on taskbar that Chrome is not running.
Then tried to clean up browser.
But it STILL says Chrome based browser is running.

Please advise!
