Avg maintenance not completing. i followed instructions from people with similar issue. when browser disabled it works. after avg update still now working unless browser cleanup disabled. uninstalled chrome. still not working. any ideas?

I had the same, try this, worked for me.  Download it and run it after uninstalling your existing PC TuneUp:
http://share.avg.com/stream/PSP/TuneUp/avg_tuh_stf_all_2015_331_beta.exe

BTW: Tech Support for UK is: 0800 086 3496  :-)

Danger, do not follow this advice from Paul Robinson. i clicked on his link and just lost 8 hours of use of my laptop. Downloaded media player and any application or file i tried to open just opened media player.
when i tried to get through on support from another device i got guruaid. 8 hours later and £50 cost i am back as before with an AVG product that does not work
