2015 downloaded but new licence did not change or expirery date

I purchased the AVG Protection from Staples, the download worked ok, A few weeks later it warns me of expiry. The productname changed to 2015 but the expiry date and thelicence number are from 2014.
Now i cannot log in to avg my account or upload onto my second computer.
I have been reading the help directory and videos?
this help page allowed me to log in for the first time in 5 hr this morning.
