Every time I boot the PC, AVG opens to tell me it has secured my PC from the same threat day after day. Is there a way to prevent that ?

Quarantine confirms the same email threat every two hours or less. I ran a deep scan, which listed other threats but not the one that shows every time I boot - and more often. Task Manager does not list an unwanted startup. Malwarebytes did not pick it up.
