Francisco, Please follow the instruction in this link (https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b0000000D3TXAA0). Also for additional info you might want send AVG scan results (http://kb.avg.com/articles/en_US/How_to/AVG-scan-result-export/).
I'm afraid the detection persists. Here's a screenshot of a recent detection:
And I've uploaded an export of resident shield results: thealliedaxis@hotmail.com_02070923.7z
This could be because of a few reasons.
1. The virus has infected a critical system32 file and cannot be repaired by AVG, requiring a Rescue CD or even a full Windows Reinstall.
2. It could be a seperate application downloading the Virus that you are running.
3. It could be a virus on your wireless network, on someone elses computer that is getting spread to yours.
Hi Francisco,
Try clean your temp and disable/uninstall all other real-time protections.
Thanks
Thank you both for your suggestions. As of now, I've followed the instructions on AVG's website: What Is a Computer Virus? | Definition & Types of Viruses
Hopefully it'll work.
My AVG keeps finding a threat called 'Malsign.BitCocktail.0E0' I always have AVG purge it but it always finds a way to come back. What's going on and how do I get rid of this threat?

Hi Francisco,
Gmer seems to be clean, just I recommend upgrade AVG to 2014 and please note that it is not recommended to run multiple real time shields(Spybot in your case).
If detection persist please provide us with already asked AVG scan results export.
Thanks
