Accidentally blocked microsoft word file when working on Word

Hallo Alok,
Thanks for your help.   I got as far as allow/block apps, the usual my docs window turned up.   I clicked on microsoft office and got a pop-up telling me access was denied so I couldn't go any further.   Word was working perfectly  until I blocked the app.   I tried several times with the same result.   Also by screenshot, do you mean the pop-up on word when I try to copy a file that says read only?   I'm not sure what you want a screenshot of since I keep getting blocked on everything.   Thanks again.
Barbara

Hello Barbara,
I'm sorry to hear about this. Please follow the instruction to allow Microsoft office application from AVG Ransomware protection (please open AVG Internet Security > menu > ransomware protection > allow/block application > apps > please allow Microsoft Office). After that, I request you to change AVG Firewall network profile to private (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components > firewall > customize > network profile > change all the network public to private), please go to Firewall customize settings again > scroll down > click on system rules > enable all the system rules if it's not configured, please click OK. If the issue still persist, please share a screenshot of the pop ups to assist you better. You can check the following link to see the instructions about taking the screenshot (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot).
Best regards,
Alok.

I was copying file on word to create duplicate when AVG opened a window saying something was trying to make changes to my computer.   The word BLOCK was emphasised in red so to be on the safe side I clicked BLOCK.   Now I can't do anything, everything is 'read' only.   I think it was something like 'wordpress docC' but I didn't look at it closely.   Can anyone tell me how to unblock please?

Barbara, If applicable… For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
