Dear all, after installing AVG Internet Security some of the modules are not activated (hacker protection and data privacy). If I want to send my activation code, the error code 'not connected to the internet' occurs. But I am connected and other Apps are running with the internet. After I again installed the App the problem continues. What can I do? Thank you so much, Peter

This error commonly occurs when there is a problem with your device's DNS settings. To change your DNS settings so that your AVG product can communicate with the appropriate server, refer to the following article:
Changing your DNS settings to troubleshoot issues with AVG products
Once you change the DNS settings, kindly try to activate the program using activation code. Also, please confirm whether have you tried to reinstall the AVG Internet Security program. We look forward for your response.

I have the same issue, connect to the internet error, done a reinstall etc and checked windows firewall isnt blocking it, still same error. hope somebody can help

Dear Veeramani, I reinstelled AVG before without success. I also changed the DNS now, no success. Even after a restart of the laptop no success. I am desperate now! What should I do? Change to another protection program? THX, Peter
