I have an existing license I've purchased from AVG. I had removed AVG from my computer and am now trying to reinstall it and activate the existing license on the new install on the same computer.

I have an existing valid license for AVG 2015 and I am trying to install it with my new installation of AVG. I don't see where to add an existing license. I don't have a menu option on my trial software that says "activate". I looked at both of these articles:

I decided to walk through the download path again:

then
http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Internet-Security-or-Premium-Security
Then I downloaded internet security. This time it was a different file: avg_isc_stb_all_2015_5315
instead of this file which I had downloaded and installed before: avg_gsr_stb_all_329p1_101
I uninstalled the previous install and installed the new file. This time I received a screen where I could enter the license information. It appears that I am ok now.

Chevan, Are you referring to a license that you've already purchased from AVG? Are you trying to install AVG on another computer? Please clarify your situ in more detail.

OK Chevan, No probs… Please to see that you appear to be now sorted. You did indeed initially download the wrong 'AVG Protection' file instead of 'AVG Internet Security'.

Chevan, Did you completely uninstall when you removed AVG?. Did you download the correct 'paid for' version you've purchased?. Have a look @ this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-reinstall-AVG).
