i am very sad, when you have a email and is not spam, what you do!!!..i think avg do not discontined add on because it is very usufel! you are wrong before update add on is working. If you see add on exists, but when open outlook add on in avg have a runtime error, but file exists.
Carlos

Balasubramanian, yes i says that avg internet security scans incoming email´s with "virus free" and not Avg log. I am avg internet security so incoming email´s scans is incorrect!..see the screenshot why??
I say avg internet security do not move spam messages to junk folder in outlook…see the screenshot why??

Carlos

Avinash, if you "click" in "Virus - free" you going to the web page "avg antivirus free" but if you "click" "This email has been checked for virus by AVG with log avg" you going to the web page "avg internet security", so it´s a "bug" and it is not correct!! i am avg internet security not avg anti virus free!
i am waiting for solution "spam emails not going to the junk folder in Outlook".
If i do not have add in avg to outlook, How i put emails in "blacklis" and "withlist"???
Carlos

Finally the Avg team listen the users!!! And NOW the version to Avg internet security 19.1.3075, add in avg is enable in Outlook.
best regards,
Carlos

Yes, it's working for me too today.  Thank you, tech support for sorting this out, and for listening to your users.

Hello Carlos,

We will certainly help you with this.

I'd like to add an information that AVG won't move any spam messages to junk folders (even in previous versions). The spam messages will always land in inbox with header named as 'SPAM'.

Let us know the version of outlook you're using on your PC.

Do you mean that AVG certificate e-mail log is not included after updating to the latest version?

Keep us informed here to get further assistance.

Today after update version to Avg internet security 19.1.3075, add in avg is disable in Outlook, add in avg not run in start up, it is not possible put add in avaiable! It´s not the first time version update is this bug, but AVG not learn with the Bugs!!!
Carlos

Carlos, sorry for the delay in response and thank you for the screenshot.
We would like to get a clarity on (log not AVG) and (log AVG)?
Do you mean that, AVG scans for the email and says virus free, which is incorrect?
By default, the spam emails will be marked as "SPAM" whereas when this option "Automatically move the spam messages to junk folder" is enabled, it will mark the emails and move to junk.

Bump.  I'm sorry, but I also meant to add EXACTLY the same thing happened at the same time last year, and took a couple of months to resolve.  I trust it will not take so long this time.

Hi
This is my third posting on different, but related strings on this issue.  My experience is EXACTLY that experienced by Carlos.  Anti-Spam was clearly broken after the last 'Update', which was NOT an improvement for those of your customers using Outlook. In addition to the icons being removed, none of my Blacklisted email addresses are being blocked, nor are they being moved automatically to my Junk folder (despite that box being checked on the dashboard).  I note that this was raised as an issue to your senior technical team two days ago.  Can I assume no progress has been made to identify the issue and (more importantly) get a solution to this problem?

As an important aside, more recent strings on this issue do NOT refelct what has been said here, but merely say that the Icon has been removed, but that everyting is fine with Anti-Spam.  It clearly isn't. May I suggest that you at least have a coherent position on this issue, as a failure to do so merely causes confusion and frustration amongst some of your users.

You could (and should) do rather better here, as my patience is not a bottomless commodity!

Ken

Carlos, we'd like to assure that AVG AntiSpam feature will still function as it was and keep the spam emails landing in your Inbox.

Carlos, both email signatures (Virus - free and This email has been checked for virus by AVG) are valid signatures. Regarding the Spam emails, we are escalating this issue to our senior technical team. We'll get back to you via email with a solution at the earliest.

Appreciate your patience.

Priyanga, you are wrong!!! messages spam in Outlook are move to "junk folder!..see the print screen…User-added image

Hi Carlos.
We'd like to inform that AVG add in for Outlook has been discontinued since AVG 18.x version itself. We assure the email protection and Anti spam features function same even without the add in.
