I need to add a hidden system file to the AVG Exceptions
~/.pia_manager
But the AVG Exceptions box does not show hidden files even though the file manager does.
Can anyone suggest how this can be done?

The window on the left is File Manager showing the hidden system files. The window on tthe right is the AVG exceptions dialog box. No hidden files showing.
I am using AVG v18.3
