Adding URL links AVG browser

Hi Trevor,

Are you referring to the bookmarks in the AVG Secure Browser?

It isn't the usual behavior, Trevor. The most frequently visited sites, will be listed in shortcuts.
Please monitor the status & if issue reoccurs, you can reinstall Secure browser once to check.
Thank you for your understanding in advance!

Sorry! I obviously used the wrong terminology. I was indeed referring to the shortcut icons.

Yes, I realize I can edit those shortcuts using by hovering on the dots menu. As you can see from the screen shot I have done that for a couple of them (Google calendar and Zoom schedule) but those shortcuts I create are later automatically replaced by shortcut icons linked to URLs I do not visit - Amazon.com and Bookings.com. Do these "replacement" shortcuts get installed when there is an automatic update of the browser app?

Thanks for your prompt responses.

It is very convenient to have links from the home page tor various bookmarks in the AVG Secure Browser. However, those I add are frequently replaced by ones I do not need. Why is it not possible to retain those links I have added instead of replacing them with URLs I never visit?

Rakshith - I am referring to the bookmarks that can be set up below the Search bar, not the bookmarks in the toolbar ribbon. See below. I find my owninserted bookmarks are replaced by Amazon.com and Booking.bom - neither of which I need. Thanks - Trevor

You can remove the unwanted shortcuts being displayed, Trevor.
Also, the bookmarks would be listed in the bookmarks bar (at top)

Let us attempt to clarify this for you, Trevor.
Those shortcut icons appears depending on the frequency it is visited by the user. Once you remove it & if the frequency of a different website is high, then it would appear.

OK - will keep an eye on it.
Thanks.
