I am having three issues linked to the Admin Server (and console) between migration, updating, and even more importantly now changing my license key.
1) Unable to migrate my Admin server to a new server. Getting database issues, I was thinking that it might be tied to my lack experience with SQL server setups but doubting that less and less.
2) Updating the, when seems to be functioning properly admin server to the newest version is failing but unable to actually find an error code for it. In the update page I find it saying that there is an error that occurs during the update but no mention of what the error is. This is after the downloading of the update and verifying the download, during the actual install phase of the update.
3) Lastly is the need to update the license key. When i go to update the key I am able to update it for station settings but I am unable to change it for the server itself. Where the button is for me change it, it is instead greyed out. My current key is still valid, that is not the issue, but it is due to become invalid soon and was wanting to get this completed before that became an issue.
Additionally what confuses me is that when I use the software provided by AVG to install the admin server/console I am informed that I am using an out of date installation package and that I need to get the more current one which I just downloaded 2 minutes before I start the install from AVG. Any help on that last part?
