Advanced Firewall Doesn't Remember Answers

I have done that and yet still it does not remember the choice selection.

Also, I have tried editing application rule. yet it keeps reverting to default (ask).

This was working well with previous versions. the new updated firewall is just terrible and not cooperative and userfriendly in any way.

Hello Gary.
We're here to help. It seems the application rule for this file in AVG Firewall settings it set to 'Ask'. Enhanced Firewall asks you to decide if you want to allow or block a connection each time a new request is received. Selecting this option may result in frequent and potentially obtrusive alerts.

Double-click the AVG Internet Security icon on your desktop to open the user interface. Click the Hacker Attacks tile. Click Firewall options ▸ Application Rules. Select the application rule for 'DeviceCensus.exe' and sse the drop-down menu to manage the program's behavior. Change the behavior from 'Ask' to 'Block' or 'Auto-decide.

If you need anything else, do not hesitate to let us know.

I'm using the paid for AVG Internet Security package, version 19.6.3098.

The advanced firewall asks me for permission each time an application wants to open a secure web page but despite the checkbox being ticked it doesn't remember what I tell it and asks again the next time. This is for Micrisift applications such as DeviceCencus.exe.

It's a bit of a pain. Any suggestions?
