In the past AVG displayed the sensitive issues and these were all scanned documents. But for a long time now the scan only says Sensitive issue and Resolve all. When I go to scan history it only gives the details how many items have been scanned and the time it took. I find that very frustrating not to know what the sensitive issues were. It is hard to to trust AVG completely as a few years ago with a more expensive and more parts of an Antivirus program documents actually disappeared after scanning.
I really would like to have a detailed report of the scan and not one specially saved at some obscure location which one is unable to find.
Thank you for this reply. Unfortunately, neither your reply nor the material in the link you provided answers my question. Both your reply and the linked material repeat that "Data Shield protects your sensitive documents" but you do not tell me how this is done. What action is taken by AVG to protect these documents? To ask the question another way, what changes are made on my computer if I select this option?
Thank you.
Tom
When I run a scan with AVG Internet Security, under the Advanced Issues heading it says that "sensitive items are prime targets for attack" (files on my C: drive) and offers to "resolve" this issue. If I tell it to do that, what exactly does it do with those files?
