After installing AVG keeps asking to restart computer

Could you tell me whether you had any other anti-vruses installed when you installed AVG?

After installing AVG on my laptop it keeps asking to restart computer to activate firewall and finish installation. I have restarted this computer at least 6 times and still receive the same prompt. What is the problem??? Thanks, Dennis
