After updating AVG problems with Antivirus Outlook Add-in

Hello Hans,

I understand the inconvenience.
We have received this complaint from few of our customers.
Please be informed that the latest 17.9 version of AVG does not install a add-in for Outlook.
The email protection component of AVG will completely protect your emails and the add-in which is present now is the older version one.
It is recommended to remove AVG add-in from Outlook which will resolve the error that is appearing.

Hi all,

I need your help. After updating AVG Internet Security I have a problem with the Antivirus Outlook Add-in in Outlook 2016. When starting Outlook it says 'this add-in is disabled'. These COM-plugin applications cause a worser performance or cause Oulook to crash. The location of the Outlook Add-in is C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG\Antivirus\asOutExt.dll. The file is there. I use Windows 10. Restarting my PC or Outlook does not solve the problem. Can someone help me with this problem? Thanks in adviance. Kind Regards, Hans
