Hello

I have tried to update the windows file from the control panel but that also just searches for ages with no progress.  The settings say allow updates.  What else can I do?

I have recently installed AGV Driver Updater and have not yet managed to complete a scan for updated drivers.  I have Windows 8.1 and it "sticks" on Requesting Windows updates"  I have let it run for 5 hours and it hasn´t progressed.  Surely this is not right.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail!

Since you have mentioned that you have initiated AVG driver updater scan and it has been stuck at  windows update, we would request you to kindly ignore the scan and try to update the windows file through control panel. Thank you for the information. This seems to be issue related with your Windows updates. The updates were not able to fetch from windows server. In this case, to assist you better with this issue, we suggest you to contact your computer manufacturer.
