Alarm Clock Extreme Snooze and Galasy S9

I have a Samsung Galaxy S9.  My AVG Alarm Clock Extreme will pop up on the lock screen when the alarm goes off, but if I snooze the alarm, the next notification will not show up on the lock screen.  I can hear the alarm at the end of the snooze time, but I have to put in my lock screen PIN code in order to see the alarm and shut it off.  Why does the initial alarm work just fine, the a snoozed alarm does not?
