Hi Veeramani,
Thank you so much for getting back to me. So I've disabled the AVG internet security.
Unfortunately the files are still being checked as read-only. Even on my C; drive apparently.
Its very strange but I guess I've gotta live with it for a while

Hi,
I'm running on Win 11 and I have 3 drives (including C:) that store different data.
I just noticed 2 of the drives will automatically set all folders to Read-only and I cannot remove it regardless what security settings I set in the properties box.
I read that a possibility could be the Anti Virus settings. I have AVG internet Security (full suite) activated.
Can anyone advise how do I solve this issue? It just refuses to be removed. Each time I uncheck the read-only box and close it, it'll fall back to read-only again when it's reopened.
