I am sorry to hear that. Please open the AVG Internet Security installed in your computer and click on Settings->Ransomware. You can see the file that is being blocked from this location. Please remove that file from block list and add the file to allow list. Once this is done, check if you are able to access MS excel as usual. If you face any difficulties, feel free to contact us.
I have just installed AVG Ultimate on my Windows 10 desktop.
When I opened an Excel file from one of my folders an AVG alert came up asking whether I wanted to allow Excel access to my files or not allow excel access.
By mistake I blocked excel's access. Now each time I open anything in excel and try to amend it and save it, I get a message saying the file is "read only" and that I will have to save it with a different file name or in a different location. I don't want to do that!
How do I allow Excel access to my files and correct the mistake I made when I blocked it.
Please help asap.
