Did that, ok for a day, now getting 'Tune Up' and Drivers ( AMD )out of date sales pitch again.
Checked, box still unchecked.
Seriously thinking of not renewing AVG.

Hello George,
I regret for the inconvenience caused.
Please open AVG Internet Security, click on Menu->Settings->General->"Uncheck the option "Show campaign pop-ups for other AVG products".
If you still receive any pop-up, please let us know and we will assist you further.
I have using AVG a number of years, but after the last payment and new license, am getting bombarded on a daily ( often several times an hour!) basis to upgrade with Tune up etc.
I am paying for the 'PRO' rate AVG, and get the impression that all is not safe even on paying for a Pro version.
HOW do I stop being pestered to buy extras?
George, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

George,
This is strange because after unchecking the popup, you should not receive those campaign popup messages. Please share the screenshot (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot)of the popup window and buying popup messages to check and assist further.
