Android, adb.exe, IDP.Generic Trojaner reported

one more, I found a similar question in this forum and the answer to upgrade to AVG 2015.
In fact, that doesn't solve the issue.

Used AVG-version: 2015.0.6086
Virus-database version: 4419/10631 (Sunday, 13 September 2015, 8:07)
Link Scanner Version: 2738

Hi all,

I installed Android Studio v1.3.2 on my PC (Windows 7 (SP1), 32bit, Professional) and when trying to compile a program, AVG reports the following error:
IDP.Generic.9BA97F03 found in C:\users<user>\AppData\Local\Android\sdk\platform-tools\adb.exe

Searching the usual google stuff results in Android thinking that is no issue and AVG is detecting false things here. Searching in AVG didn't show results. Older adb.exe versions seem to be clean from AVG point of view. Does anybody have an idea what is going on?

p.s. fixing the issue with AVG results in the adb.exe is put in quarataine…
p.p.s I tried to send the adb.exe to AVG for analysis (via the GUI), but as there is no sent-notification, I'm not sure whether it ever reached AVG labs

thanks
Helmut

Hi Helmut,
Sorry to know that. Please let us know the name of the AVG program with which you are facing this issue. Have you tried to disable AVG ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-disable-AVG ) and checked if you are able to compile a program? If you are still facing the same issue even after disabling AVG, then AVG is not the actual cause of this issue. Also, you will not receive any notification after submitting files for analysis. Our Virus lab will analyze if the file is secured.
Feel free to contact us if you have any queries with AVG products. Thank you.
