Annoying Pop up warning about encrypted connection

I am not convinced that this has been fully answered.
I have multiple accounts, some are encrypted and some aren't. I seem to be getting the same pop-up, but only for the encrypted accounts.
And if emails are scanned even if they are encrypted, what is the point of the pop-up? If they aren't scanned, it must surely pose a risk. So does the procedure given in 'Set up AVG E-mail Protection to scan encrypted e-mails' apply to both encrypted and unencrypted accounts?

Thanks Barry. So this will stop only the notifications, not the scanning of my email?

hello Jeanine Zwalve , this is what you will have to do , to stop those popups : open up AVG , in the top right corner of the user interface press the downward arrow saying optionns , select advance settings from the dropdown menu , untick email notifications from the list and then press aply and your done  Barry AVG HOF/VIP/GURU

Every 10 min I get a pop up (in Dutch) telling me that the email scanner cannot scan messages because the connection was encrypted, but in my setting encryprion is off, waht should I do?
