Another Cancellation Issue

I have been trying to cancel for about a year now.
No one responds, no one cares. 
Personally, I think it's abhorrent to renew without warning. 
Received another renewal today. Why can't you send a note 3-7 days before the renewal is due? 
But that would give us time to cancel. 
I am waiting to hear back from my payment method to get this bill refunded.
