Bernd, Please click on the following link (http://avgclick.me/AVGtechnical) and fill out your details, select as Android then the name of AVG Program that you installed in your mobile and in description please completely explain about your issue and finally click on Email option. The AVG mobile team will reply back to you via email with a resolution.

Dear Alan, 

I did contact the support, twice! But I did get NO answer. There are so many articles in the internet about the unwanted lock of the mobile and AVG did not do anything to improve the software/app!  I will never buy a AVG-Product! 

Problem-sovling: Totday I found a very helpful video on you tube to unlock the mobile phone by factory reset: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOg187KoM5k.(in German).

In words: press the powerbutton and the volume-down-button simultaneous and select "factory rest" with the volume-button. That's it!

As so many other AVG-user my mobile phone (HTC M8) has been locked by the AVG Antivirus Pro App, function AntiTheft. I have used "avgmobilation" - Lock-Function and Antitheft. I can unlock the screen with Lock/Unlock-Funtion, but after that I am asekd for a PIN (not SIM-PIN!) - but I never (!!) have set one. What can I do to unlock my mobile phone again?   In my opionion AVG has to react and to improve the software!!!
