my phone has my phone has started getting a siren and message that this phone has been lost or stolen. Then it goes away. Is this happening because I am using a VPN that is not by AVG?

I understand the inconvenience.
This shouldn't be happening due to VPN app installed on your device.
We have to follow AVG Anti-theft re-registration to fix this issue.
Open AVG antivirus app on your mobile and tap on drawer which is at top left corner.
Select "Anti-theft" use the toggle button to disable it.
Restart the mobile device and get into to same settings to enable "AVG Anti-theft" feature.
