Anti theft locate function not working

I used the link provided by Sreedevi which brought me to Alan, whose suggestion did not help either.

So I am now using Googles Android Device Manager which works great.

Please fill out your details, select as android then the name of AVG Program that you installed in your mobile and in description explain about your issue completely and finally click on Email option.
Our AVG mobile team will reply back to you via email with a resolution.

In www.avgmobilation.com The "Locate" function for android phones does not work!  The "Shout" function does.

My android tablet, the locate and shout both work.

How do I troubleshoot?

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please click on this link: https://support.avg.com/support_contact_form?l=&retUrl=support_sales .
Select the option as "YES" and the operating system as "ANDROID"
Fill in the details and click on the option "answer via email"
Once your request is submitted you will be getting the prompt answer via email from our mobile team.
