Anti theft unlock

I installed AVG anti theft on a tab recently. AVG sent me 2 emails that I did not open due to network problems in my locality. Today I changed the sim card on the tab and immediately restarted it.An Anti theft prompt popped up and on inputting my password am getting a response of "wrong password". I have tried all passwords I could have used and for the last 1 hour all are said to be wrong. Is there a way I can unlock the tab or reset the password.?
