It is to keep you informed that you might have installed the trial version of the AVG Antivirus program and that's the reason you are facing the issue. Please run the AVG remover tool : http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to completely uninstall your previous installation of AVG program from your PC. AVG Free was recently installed on my laptop after a clean re-install the new Win10 OS to delete a virus that was eating up my hard drive space. The AVG application came with the Zen application, which everyone is talking about. Apparently this free version of AVG was at "full protection" as a trial when it was installed, but has now expired. I did not purchase a subscription, and it appears I now only have the free anti virus. I'm not sure what this means in terms of protection for my computer. When I open the program application the window kind of fades, and then is covered by a sales window telling me to purchase full protection now brcause my trial has expired. I

Thanks Kishore, I'll give it a go. Will I be able to upgrade to the Pro at some point, or will I need to do another unistall/install? Doing uninstalls always seems to leave some application residue in various folders
small note here: It does appear as if the version I'm running is/was a trial version, but I'm not sure as I'm not the one who installed it.

Thank you for replying us back. Once you have purchased our Pro version you can just activate the program using the license key so that the product will recognize the key and upgrade to the paid version.
