Anyone know how to stop AVG renewal request pop ups?

Since you've downgraded your subscription from AVG Internet Security to AVG AntiVirus FREE, you would have receive these renewal notification.
I'd recommend you to uninstall the AVG Internet Security on your computer, reinstall the AVG AntiVirus FREE and check the status.

I want to stop the AVG pop up reminders that my subscription top the paid version has expired. I just use the free version on one old windows desktop, but the constant barrage of  spammy pops  is undesirable. I looked in stetting, turned off avg marketing alerts but still getting  the upgrade alerts.

Has anyone found a way to stop them ?
