Ap.lijit.com Nuisances

I have intsalled the latest software updates to theAVG program and confirmed the latest virus definations.  If this continues I will be forced to stop the program or uninstall the product and go with another vendor… Just one less customer and my subscription is almost expired make me think this is a good time for a change Just saying a unhappy customer is soon to be an X customer.

Have you tried updating the virus definitions? If not, we suggest you to do so.
Kindly follow the below steps to update virus definition and restart your PC then check the issue.
Open Menu > Go to settings > Update > Check for updates.

Been getting this nuisance Messages from AVG. Concerning a site "ap.lijit.com" as being malware and is considered a bot and it is taking care of it but it just keeps happening on the same safe secure sites. I noticed a bunch of complaints about this very subject today on July 30, 2022.  I have been having this problem for several days. I have scanned using malware bytes and nothing found.  Is this a hickup in the AVG software?  This problem is unacceptable to me please fix.

I see that many users are having this problem with *.lijit.com starting in the past day or so.
Just make sure you are connecting the dots between all of us. It isn't likely a problem with any of our settings. More likely a global problem. My thread is here:

We can really understand your frustration. We will surely help you to resolve this issue right way. 

We have already escalated this issue to higher level team and they have released update to fix this issue. Could you please confirm whether you are still getting threat message from AVG?
