Hello Built,
We realize the situation and it is necessary to update the network profile as Private in AVG Firewall.
Open AVG Internet Security interface.
Click on "Menu–>Settings–>Components–>Enhanced Firewall".
Click on "Customize" and select "Network Profiles".
If it is set as "Public", click and change it to "Private".
Click Ok and check the status with your application.
Thanks.
I got Bitnami for WordPress. AVG blocks apache/sqld etc. As soon as I switch off enhanced firewall, I can access everything include phpmyadmin.
Is there a way to find out which applications are actually blocked? Can somebody please educate me how to enable logs and allow these apps access (localhost - windows 10).?
Version 18.0.3066
You are most welcome.
Glad to know that it worked.
You can visit this https://help.avg.com/en/avg_free/18/settings_fw_policies.html#settings_fw_profiles link to know about network profiles of AVG.
Thanks.
Thank you very much! That worked!
Not sure if there is a doc I can read about the differences between Private and Public Profiles.
