Apple App Store wont work while VPN is on (iPhone 11s)

While the AVG VPN is active I cannot access the Apple App Store.  I shut VPN off and it works fine.
I am using an iPhone11
I tried it on my wife/s iPhone 6s and no issue with the the App Store
