We started investigating on this issue.
We request you to take a screenshot of the error that appears for the installation and collect the log files of AVG.
We have sent the information on how to collect the log files via email, please follow those instructions and send us the log files via email.
Please check for the email on spam, junk and inbox folders.

I installed Sierra OS on my mac and avg anti virus crashed. down loaded avg agin X 2 and still crashed. does it support the new OS sierra?
