Asking for a password and unable to uninstall

Hello Johnny,

We’d like to know more about what’s happening with your AVG. Are you facing issue with AVG PC TuneUp Interface? Please share the screenshot [http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot] of the Password Window to check and assist further.

My AVG control panel is now asking for a password.  Password or cancel are only options.  I cannot uninstall and have used the uninstall applet several times.  Win 10 control panel will not uninstall it.  Something has hijacked the permissions and even as admin, I cannot change or add permissions.  I've tried a win10 reset but on reboot the keypad is non-responsive.  This particular item I've had before and changing to a keyboard with the round plug fixed it but not this time.  Any ideas out there ??
