The aswidsagent exe process has a memory leak that consumes all my computer's memory! As the usage grows to OVER 11 GB the computer becomes completely unusable!! This process cannot be killed through Task manger or the elevated command prompt using Taskkill. I contacted AVG Support in January and they recommended complete removal and reinstalling the latest version. This was performed but problem persists after that. I removed the aswidsagent.exe file in safe mode and the program reinstalled itself! This time I performed a complete removal of AVG Internet Security and reverted to using MS Defender and Firewall. I have been a PAID AVG subscriber for 20 years but this will be my last unless there is a convincing fix… no more try this and see what happens. there are too many others posting here with the same exact issue
