AVG account password is associated with your online AVG MyAccount. AVG authorization password is set to protect unauthorized access of your AVG app and it is set from AVG program settings. AVG MyAccount password can be reset but authorization password can not be.
I'd request you to uninstall AVG using Clear and Remover tools as per the instructions in this link http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product.
Then reinstall it as per the steps in this link http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Protection.

I had never created an authorization password. I am not able to log in to scan. I changed my protection password and it is still not letting me log in. What is the different between the AVG account password and authorization password? There is also no forgot my password in order to resolve the issue. How can I resolve this issue?
