Automatic updates are not happening, and the scheduled scan does not happen

I regret to hear about the inconvenience caused. Do you see any error or warning message regarding program or virus definition updates on AVG interface? AVG will automatically check for updates and install them. Please let us know what is the current version of AVG installed on your PC.

Thank you for the information. This issue can happen if the latest update of AVG might have failed or corrupted. We suggest you to run AVG repair(avgclick.me/RepairAVG) from control panel and check if that fix this issue. If you still have any problem, we suggest you uninstall the AVG Internet Security from your computer and install the latest version from this link http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/Antivirus_Free_1817.exe. Once you install the free version of AVG, please open AVG AntiVirus free->Menu->About->subscriptions->Enter license number. Please enter your AVG Internet Security license number and activate this product to paid subscription.

There have not been any error or warning messages
I have to manually click on updates and manually click on scan whole computer
