Tom, Have you in fact applied the AVG article content yet?.
AVG Guru
Well, we just finished a "Whole Computer Scan," and notice the starting time was 4:55 and the end time was 5:18. Is that possible that it only took 23 minutes to run a Whole computer scan?
That is the shortest time we have ever encountered. (37567 files)
I have the AVG 2014 Free AV on my two WinXP computes. I tried to update both of them with new definitions, but got message "There are no active components" on both computers. It said something about offline, etc.
Why is this happening? I think I will just get rid of AVG and try another AV program.
Hello tom
If you have already applied the steps given to you by Alan, to reinstall AVG
Then everything should be fine
Scan time is normally about 37 567 files, no problem
If you need help please inform here
Thank you
