AVG 2014 white screen

AVG Free 2014 is causing a blank/white screen upon startup. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, but that doesnt seem to fix this issue. The entire screen is usually white when starting windows until I press the Windows key, and close AVG like in the screenshot below. I am running Windows 7 64 bit. Is there any solution to this?

Terry, Have you also considered upgrading to AVG 2015 to see if this corrects your situ… Have look @ this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-upgrade-AVG-8-5-9-0-2011-or-2012-to-the-latest-version). You're using AVG Free & the 2015 install file is available within the download link.

I downloaded and installed the latest version of 2015, and the problem is still occuring.

Same issue… is there a fix?  Now have Windows 10 and Edge installed…
