In order to analyze it please provide us with diagnostic output (run it after inducing described behavior) using this tool and please add detailed description of issue.

i have just bought it from flipkart
and whenever i install it then it shows the above error

Did you used offline package for clean installation, after removing AVG?

Have done that.  Removed AVG completely using removal tool, re-downloaded, and attempted reinstall.  Same error

Was prompted to upgrade my AVG Free 2014, so attempted.  Now I get:

Severity: Error
Error code: 0xC0070643
Error message: General internal error
Additional message:  MSI Engine: Failed to install the product.
Contect: AVG Product installation, MSI action failed.

Amy, In order to analyze it please provide AVG with diagnostic output using this tool (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe).
