Tyler, In order to analyze it please provide AVG with diagnostic output using this tool (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_SysInfo.exe).

AVG Removal tool crashes, there is no AVG folder in program files or program files (x86). There is also no AVG folder in the software folders in the registry. I have tried the BFE fix tool, running the removal tool in safe mode, and restarting the Base Filtering Engine service. I don't have any other antivirus installed either. Are there any further steps I can take?
