I tried both repair and remove AVG in the control panel but the attempts ended with the error: can´t stop firewall (or something like that). Even before update to W8.1 Windows Defender would fall and the automatic Windows update had stopped. Spyware?

I made this mistake to update W8 to W8.1. Now my paid AVG 2015 tells Web, computer and identity not protected, firewall restart required -whatever I do the warnings stay the same. Windows Defender and firewall fell down. I tried to uninstall AVG but got scared for the new crash of Defender and firewall. I installed F-Secure trial which unistalled AVG partially but it keeps popping up with need to restart and update. What could I do? Is there any trick to repair AVG? Or would it be safe to remove F-Secure for a while and just uninstall AVG? -I had paid for two years of AVG and used it for 6 months…
Matti, please download AVG remover tool based on your OS (whether 32 bit or 64 bit) and run it on your PC to uninstall AVG. Then reinstall AVG to resolve your issue.
