Thank you for reaching us with your concerns. Are you logged on to your PC with admin rights? Please provide a screenshot ( http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot ) of the error message that you are receiving. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
If the issue persist, please try to delete the file from safe mode ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-reboot-your-computer-into-Safe-Mode ).
AVG Free saves the daily scan report file in Notepad. I had an issue in OCT where none of the file were available to be scanned, therefore it listed all of them in the Notepad file for that day. There were thousands of them. I would like to delete them but it says that I an not the authorized user and will not allow me to save the changes I made. can someone tell me how to do it? Thx

Attached is a screen print of the problem. BYW, I am the admin of the PC.
